The mission of Olleke is to (re)connect people with an imaginary world, to inspire people that imagination encircles our colourful universes, by giving them an immersive experience and commited brand dedication.
Olleke is a creative studio founded in Bruges in 2012.
We design books, brands and visual identities for publishers, authors, retailers and creative businesses. Our work spans cover and interior book design, brand identity, illustration, copywriting and online marketing — always tailored, never off the shelf.
The studio is led by Olivier Van Gierdeghom, a visual artist and author-illustrator with a Master's degree in Visual Arts from Sint-Lucas Brussels. With over two decades of experience across publishing, editorial design and brand development, he brings both creative depth and practical knowledge of the publishing industry to every project.
We work with independent authors who want their book to stand alongside traditionally published titles, with small and mid-sized publishers who need a reliable creative partner, and with brands that want an identity built to last.
Our approach
Every project starts with listening. We don't apply templates — we ask questions, study your audience, and build something that fits. Our process is transparent, our pricing is fixed, and our timelines are agreed upfront.
We are based in Bruges and Amsterdam, with clients across Belgium, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Values
Olleke is a vegan, LGBTQ+ inclusive studio. We keep our environmental impact low — green energy, recycled materials, paperless where possible — and we believe good design and good values are not in conflict.
